I am Jason Jones, the President and founder of Community Insurance Partners. We are a regional Medicare focused insurance agency. I am first and foremost a husband of 24 years as of August 15, 2022, and a father of a beautiful freshman at Southern Mississippi. I am originally from Greenville, Al. The son of a Funeral director / mortician and former mayor. I completed my bachelor’s degree in social work from Troy State University. Worked at Mobile Infirmary (Rotary Rehabilitation Hospital) and eventually transitioned to The University of South Alabama, Knollwood Park Hospital completing my experience as a team leader in both social work departments.I completed my Master of Science in Public Administration in 2005 from The University of South Alabama. Accepted a position with HealthSpring of Alabama as a hospital contract negotiator, eventually transitioning to Provider network administrator responsible for the overall success of a regional area for the health plan. I started CIP in 2010. Since the start of CIP, we have worked hard to change the mindset of insurance agents from a reliance on sources such as mail and digital media to results that focus on relationship building fundamentals. Through the development of community relationships, we believe we provide a more stable and environment for the discovery of Medicare insurance solutions. As a social worker, I wanted to bring the helping process into the process of insurance selection. Many of our agents complete additional training programs to assist clients with benefit and resource linkage assistance and programs. Many of these programs go beyond insurance solutions to assistance with food insecurity, housing services, utility bill assistance, pharmaceutical patient assistance programs, community medical foundation services, low-income subsidy applications, numerous veteran benefit programs, & community resource linkage/ access among many other things. Blending the division between the business and human resource worlds are just the beginning at CIP.
